Another Day .... Halloween Soon!!!! ....

Gawd. I somehow made it thru today. One of the anniversary dates .... not an "offical" anniversary but we WERE married on the 29th day of the summer month .... and I feel bad, missed a birthday yesterday .... to think if we were happy it would be 2 years 4 months. OH the things I could say/write!! Oh well, not worth whining about. Worked all day today pretty much. BUT this AM I helped vaccum (sp!?) two vehicles and got a nice reward in exchange so I'm thrilled - won't go into detail except to say that I'll be takin n keepin some pics at least for my records LOL!

Work has been nuts since the Hardees ( http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/article/20091028/GPG0101/91028039/1978 and http://www.topix.com/county/door-wi ) stuff going on. Kinda sucks but really only for those busted I guess LOL. Cuz work sure is boomin and it's rather nice!! I DID end up clocking out about 20 minutes early but was able to call a doc back and then deal with some other stuff before coming home and NOT walking this time : ) We shall see what Sunday and after brings .... hopefully a vehicle but we shall see ....

STILL job hunting esp since I now am down to ONE day at my other job next week and it's a day I have to get someone else to switch with me on as I NEED the hours at the first (most promising) job .... so we'll see if I can't get a day of work where I'm not at the promising job .... otherwise not too worried about it, and it's not like I'm getting many hours at all there anyways .... worst part is I need a second job so I HAVE to find something. Just not much that's hiring in my area to walk to work .... so we'll see what happens ....

Anyways, getting tired and hungry (haven't had dinner yet) so I'm off to go home and eat and watch one or two of six or seven movies - four from the library I borrowed and two or three I borrowed last night from a gf) so I'll definetely keep busy - not to mention that I have like 30 to 45 magazines sitting in a pile on my floor to go thru (Cosmo, Women's Day, Elle .... ) so that's what I have going on. No guys .... "cuz I ain't got time for their drama!!" HAHAHA : ) OH and still waiting on my two new phone batteries straight from the manufacturer's home (AKA Hong Kong) LOL LOVE YOU ALL : )

Today and Yesterday ....

Today was not that great. Yesterday was OK. I guess. Worked today. Went to my other job yesterday only to find out that someone else had been given my hours/shift .... and I hadn't been notified. I just got a usual walk in. Sucked! Got a few necessary cards tho : ) And then I got to see my momma! Went to see about some possible jobs and a few were already filled. Then it was home to eat and off to the library for a little bit and then I went home around 4 and called a gf and left a message and ended up watching Wedding Date and the end of The Villiage and had JUST started Sweeny Todd when another gf called and said that she needed company and had had a bad day so I dressed as she drove to get me.

Went to her place and we didn't expect to stay long. Haha, ended up staying at her place for like 3 1/2 hours because her neighbor/good friend came over with her baby (the gf I was with had let her mom take her baby for the evening) and she ended up hanging out a while til her husband got home from work (he and I work together) .... she made us macaroni and cheese at about 1015 and we talked and played with her son (18 months or so). Then they left and it was just her and I and we hung out til her husband called and said that he was on his way home so we decided it was time for me to go home (they're not doing well .... ) and we got ready to leave. Once home I painted my fingernails with strengthener and slept.

TODAY I got up and dressed and headed to work. Went by rather fast. I guess Hardees had a drug bust yesterday AM and therefore while they're not closed they're not getting much business. WE were getting it all - nice but DANG. There was really no time for anything and no downtime so I worked 4 1/2 straight hours before my break and then had another hour and "change" before I clocked out. Thankfully my parents came to get me (I guess they're headed south tonight for some stuff) so I didn't have to walk home at all .... got some mail from them. No mail at my place. Oh well. Only really expecting/waiting on one thing. Giving it time. And later tonight going to hang out with the gf : ) Got to shower and eat and MAYBE squeeze in Sweeny Todd first - we shall see!

Anyways, more later. It's been an afternoon. Hating someone. Loving a few people. Living life .... : )

Finally Feeling Better - Somewhat ....

Well today I wasnt feeling that great. Started out early this AM .... took an off brand Benadryl to try to avoid waking up to coughing or sneezing and ended up waking up to tossing and turning due to BAD lower back pain and a burning face, ears, and head and I had a hot AND cold sweat going on. Couldnt get comfortable. Was lucky to get a half hour of sleep in each hour past 130 .... and I had to work at 11!! So that was no fun!! I was put on counter and then fries which got me dizzy and winded - probably from the heat of the oil of the fries and my burning up body so soon after I was put into Drivethru and was there the rest of my shift, a good 3 hours : ) I didnt mind that in the least and after a few minutes of being in DT my boss came in to check on me and she happily announced I had color in my face again LOL. After clocking out I realized how hungry I was and had dinner - a burger and yogurt - and by quarter after 5 I was in the bathroom changing to go to my other job ....

And no sooner than I got there I was asked if I wanted to clock out at 730 or 8 as the boss is cutting hours - yet hiring four new people - and I agreed to be done at 8 getting justan hour and a half taken from my shift .... but it flew by and there wasnt much to do .... and I managed to get a ride home from her so as to ensure I wont end up sicker and so that I got home ok. So that was nice : ) Got to hear about his progress today as well and Ill get to see her again tomorrow after work before my afternoon gets busy LOL ....

Another Weekend Gone Already ....

Wow .... havent written/typed in a while .... maybe since Thursday .... but Ive had good reason LOL .... been sick since Wednesday .... worked all the rest of the week .... been having some *issues* at work .... Friday was the Fish Fry and it seems it was busy despite the rainy, cold weather and the food was great!! Went and saw a girlfriend later that night til late and was glad it was pay day : ) Then I worked all Saturday and rested before going to see a different girlfriend Saturday evening .... today was busy!!

After waking up and getting dressed for church and attending church we headed back to their house and I had a doughnut and hot cocoa before getting ready to drop her off at work .... and then it was off to GB for us!! Almost brought his wife along but she wasnt feeling well so she stayed here in town ..... once in GB we went to Sams Club and picked up some poptarts for them and hot cocoa packets for me while Im at work since I have the Nesquick for here at home .... Then it was off to the mall for some girlie shopping and I got what I was after .... then we went to my phone retailer and they got my BluTooth to talk to my phone and my music to transfer to my phone as well ....

Then it was off to the hospital to see him .... he is doing well - fighting with everything he has in him and more no matter what he thinks {even tho YES he wants to go home} and Im hopeful .... but obviously scared! He starts chemo tomorrow and might be released tomorrow too but we wont know til afternoon .... I just hope it goes well! After a little bit we left and headed back home. I went to their house and made dinner and finished up the other stuff I wanted to do before being dropped off at home and watching a few movies before bed and now it's off to bed I go - took some meds a few minutes ago so I don't wake up to cough or sneeze, hope it helps!!

Tomorrows Pay Day!! ....

What a past few days its been! I managed to catch something from work or a friend so my throat is sore and Ive had some bad headaches the past few days .... not to mention being emotional!! With his grandma dying this past weekend my emotions have been quite mixed up and Im learning to self-acknowledge what Im feeling and let it go .... while I feel bad for his family and I feel his loss - Ill admit I cried when I found out - that doesnt change how I feel about him now. I dont hate him, I highly dislike his decisons and choices but I dont control him like he no longer has control/say in my life ....

Anyways .... she took him down to GB today for more testing. Not sure how long hell be there but we know hes in good hands and getting the treatment he needs .... just sucks because we cant be directly by his side like we want to be.

And besides the sick-ish part of me things are alright .... work today and yesterday was busy {despite me almost fainting at work today and getting a cold spell} so thats good. Walking to work two days ago wasnt so fun, not only was it raining but I was walking as the funeral was bing held and therefore the half-trip {Cassie pulled over by Reef} walking I spent bawling my eyes out in the pouring rain ....
And I apparently need to find money for a half set of contacts .... my left pairs always seem to tear/rip before my right but I wont complain too much since Ive worn this set since at least Aug if not July!! So yeah ....

Almost Garbage Day ....

Well .... today was .... interesting .... went to work til early afternoon and got home in time to shower before my mom came by and after she left I made some hardboiled eggs and went to the library .... had to wait just over a half hour to use the computer and that time I used to flip through a magazine for some inspiration but a friend stopped to talk to me so I didnt get far .... I was there til the library closed and then went home ....

While there though, and online, I was doing some research and found out my STBEHs last surviving grandparent passed away Sunday AM which explains his lack of communication this week! Im also honestly amazed about my initial reaction and feelings regarding this death .... mostly I am feeling sympathy. The other feeling Im not sure how to describe .... but yeah .... add that to some of my "family" problems and youve sure got one confused gal!!

So yeah .... besides that I got a bottle of my nail polish opened by a bartender downstairs and talked to a gf {G} who is having a hard time {esp today} right now .... and now Im off to bed .... working later afternoon/early evening tomorrow then who knows what .... So more later : ] .... Keep warm!! ....

A Better Day : )

So today wasnt bad .... got up and ate and went to the library and was on the computer a while getting some stuff done and then mom asked for some help so I prepared to do that .... ended up going up north I think to help fetch a car {it as a nice ride!!} and drove it back to the shop and then spent the rest of the time before work mailing off letters and watching some of Patch Adams and thinking of more things to get done since a lot of the short-term goals {address changes and eBay items to watch so I can get a new box chain for my pendants nd a new watch .... } I hd were taken care of this morning besides purchasing what still needs bought .... cant do anything til at least Friday .... and yet I still have other short-term goals I want accomplished like the books being read, movies watched, and journal entries typed and printed out, and all of the sewing .... I know it will all get done in time : ]

Anyways .... worked a three hour shift and had a bit of fun at work and afterwords got a ride home from work {thanks D!!} and called a friend to check in on her and a girlfriend and her husband came up to haang out and we started to watch Hancock at their house .... I just was dropped off at home as she has work in the AM and its already so late ....

So yeah .... thats my day .... working late AM to early afternoon tomorrow and then who knows what else .... maybe hanging out w the gf again and playing with their son .... doing hair while watching a movie .... who knows ... More later tho, time for bed!! ....

So this is almost all the books Im going to start 'attacking' LOL

Another Sunday .... Almost Gone ....

Kept rather busy today .... got up and ready for church and it was "just us girls" for that part, he had a late night so we picked him up after and headed to their house for a bit .... I got my cup back and fixed a jewelry box drawer and eventually we left and dropped her off at work and then picked up a friend of theirs and I got dropped off here at my place and have been here since ....

Got a few calls and made a few calls .... wrote two letters and I'm in the process of finishing the other two .... watched Lord of War, Premonition, The InLaws, The Devil Wears Prada and now Im working on the original Yours Mine and Ours .... after this Im off to bed ....

Wrote to an AK friend, a PA friend, and finishing the boys letters .... wrote down some goals and wants and some of that DOES include sewing!! I have at least one blanket to make and another bag for me and then some clothes for me as well : ]

But anyways .... more tomorrow after work sometime .... may be going down south with mom tomorrow, wont know until tomorrow AM .... So more tomorrow : ] Have a great night/day!! ....

A Busy But Good Weekend : ]

Well so far so good : ) I woke up to a BFFs call {C} and then got some good news from my parents and got a ride to see some cars right before lunch ... cars seem to be in good to better condition and they wont be inspected til Wednesday so we shall see how that goes ....

And then we went to DC Brew for lunch. Food was good!! Had a few comments about some peoples choice of clothing .... and then we went back to the shop to drop him off and then she and I went to a thrift shop in town and she got a table or chair and we went to Cellcom .... apparently my phone wont take to a Bluetooth so Im back to searching for another phone .... but not just for BT reasons .... after all that she dropped me off at my place and I headed to the library. Just got back actually .... working closing shift tonight .... then probably going to hang out with some girlfriends and then theres church in the AM .... and Im pretty sure Im back to work Monday : ) ...

But anyways .... going to finish Murder By Numbers before work and I think is late as well unfortunately .... cuz that means 3 others are possibly late .... oh well .... I want to get at least one more letter ready to mail before heading to work .... take care!! : ) ....

A Not-So-Great Friday ....

Today wasnt so great .... highlight was getting a paycheck .... Got some not so great news about some family and Im working my tail off .... hope it pays off!! Otherwise, got to see a friend who is doing better since her accident and saw other girlfriends including ones I once worked with, one of whom works with my sister at the Y : ) .... And tomorrow I just close at my second job which gives me some time beforehand to do some searching for a vehicle and another job .... : )

Been doing some thinking lately too about LOT of things .... wanting to go back to school but not sure for what yet .... and wanting to get back to where I was 3 years ago .... and thats proving to be difficult and honestley if it were easy Id be quite concerned!! I still have quite a to-do list to accomplish besides that which includes books to read and things to do beyond the legalities ....

Well not too much otherwise to type tonight .... tired and sore as my back got a workout today and my emotions arent helping .... more later : )

One Day Before Pay Day!! ....

Ah tomorrow is payday!! Always a great way to start the weekend esp since once again this weekend is a busy one!! I have so so SO much to do before and after my shifts .... writing .... a few meetings .... letters .... journaling .... some sewing now that I have my sewing machine : ] !! .... and of course anyone who knows I LOVE designing!! .... probably will be going out to celebrate a lil bit Sat eve probably wont go out tomorrow ....

Anyways .... some interesting tidbits - Ive taken to smiling a bit again about more than my kids {my precious memories} and the weather and drivers and such .... !! I smile about random cute guys that walk by me downtown when they look like dorks .... I smile when I think of good songs and when I find great deals and find myself enjoying life besides being away from the kids ....

Otherwise life is good : ) Going back to writing some letters and watching another movie before working my butt off all day tomorrow .... joyous .... LOL So enjoy your weather and life and know that no matter HOW bad things seem, life can ALWAYS be worse than it is .... !!

Just a Thursday ....

So tomorrow is pay day - quite exciting!! Not that I'll get to really see much of the pay check as usual but that's OK LOL as long as the bills are paid what do I care right?! But otherwise things are OK. Could be worse. I haven't been sleeping all that much with so much to do after I'm done working (and tomorrow I work both jobs - yikes!) so that's not good. And I'm still job/vehicle hunting. And missing the kids. But I know that things could be a lot worse so I just keep reminding myself of how good I really DO have it .... : )

But more later tonight maybe. Depends on how I feel. Got to work 10 to 10 tomorrow and I doubt I'll want to do anything after that .... we'll see ....

Another Day .... That Much Closer ....

Well lots happened today but nothing of too much importance. I actually have a day off tomorrow (YAY ME!! : ] ) and besides that I'm either headed south with some family for the better part of the day or I'm going to have to find something to do all day .... so we'll see come AM what happens ....

Work was work. Before work I sent off a letter to the kids and tried to go to the Pantry in town but they weren't open (tho their sign on the door said that they would be so who knows .... ) so I ended up at the library for my 15 AM minutes before work and then finished the rest of 9 Months (which I'm returning here momentairily) and walked halfway to work before my mom was kind enough to give me a ride the rest of the way. After work (which was actually not as busy as it usually is .... ) I got a ride home and came here to get some stuff done. Headed home soon to eat and talk to a GF and then watch a movie before bed .... missin the kiddos!! More later, maybe tonight : )

Another Day, More Adventures : ]

Wow today was quite a day! I worked early afternoon shift {a frequent older customer at work named Alison gave me a ride after I was halfway there because of the weather and she was headed there anyways which was WONDERFUL because it was raining and cold and I'dve been late otherwise!!} and afterwork I changed, ran an errand, and then got a ride home. From there I had some yogurt and then walked the three blocks down/south and went to the library Ended up seeing a friend there and after a bit I was invited to join her in getting her new entertainment stand and that was around 615 .... I just got home LOL

We not only got the entertanment stand but put it together and then grabbed dinner at Taco Bell and came back to my place to put together my new tv stand ~ THANK YOU CW BTW : ] !! ~ and she left about ten minutes ago to go to bed .... where I'm headed shortly : ]

But first ~ I never did get to describe myself after I started my post and it somehow erased itself .... sucks!! So we'll see if I can tonight ....

I am a person of creativity ~ that is, I never fall short of ideas, be it things to do or make. I have every intention of finishing the several stories I have begun to write but never finished. I am an avid reader and movie watcher. I used to have access to tv {meaning like the ability to watch Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy, CSI, House, Law and Order, Private Practice and Castle to name a few} but with it having switched to digital so recently I dont get anything .... But more later : ]

Ah .... Starting Over ....

Wow .... So I just went and typed up this wonderful post and as about to end it end / close the post when my phone from which I'm typing off from decides to go back to the main home screen.
