Wow ....

So I've officially had my own place 2 months tomorrow .... and I'm off work the next two days - going south to help family out tomorrow and getting some stuff done there. Driving a truck back (!!) as well .... hope to get a few things accomplished there, we shall see. Anyways - some material things I'm thankful for -

Wow : )

What a day .... had the day off and got up late as my phone decided to be funny this AM and didnt have the alarm go off. After a bit of deciding what to do I went to the library for a while and returned the DVDs Id rented but had no time to watch. Re-renewed the Desperate Housewives since Im sure Ill be done with Greys by Monday. And then I have a Jeff Dunham DVD to watch and once thats watched Im sure something else from the library will be in.

Got a call from my mom and she gave me my pea coat I've had for almost 3 Christmas' now and sent her away with jeans I ended up getting back and cleaned my place up a bit. Then had some lunch and talked to a friend before getting ready to go see a gf and go up north with my parents. All in all had a great night : )

What a Few Days ....

What a few days it's been .... kept busy with work and a few friends have called and been in town so that's been nice : ) Got my hair done last night and it looks great! Wednesday I spent the entire day with my BFF and her mom down south in Milwaukee .... looked at apts and had Olive Garden (it was SO good!! We had unlimited soup (like chicken and dumplings), salad and breadsticks) and later that day she treated us to Starbucks and we shared a Peppermint Mocha (it was AMAZING!!) and once in the mall area we shopped at Bath and Body Works, Yankee Candle and a clothing store I think and they got some Christmas shopping done and I got a new phone case since mine (from eBay) broke within a month. So that was good!

And then I worked Thursday and yesterday afternoon .... didn't do much beyond working. Tonight I'm going up north with my family to see a movie premier and eating dinner with them. Not sure what else. A friend of mine saw Casting Crowns in concert last night lucky duck! And a gf is getting ready to start being a military member - way to go girly!! - so that's certainly good!

Only bad thing about this week (besides having to pay $100 for car insurance which I know isn't much just financially bites!) is that I was apparently billed to be seen at the free clinic .... so not much else is going on.

A Few More Firsts ....

Well today was fun! Went south to MilTown and looked at some nice apartments and had Olive Garden for lunch - the unlimited soup and salad which was AWESOME!! Id never been there before .... after lunch and more apartment viewing it was to the mall we went. I got a new/better phone cover as I managed to break the front cover of the pink one I had last night so now mine's black with glittery white stars. Went to Bath and Body Works and they used some coupons and I got gift ideas for Christmas. Also was given two small hand sanitizers. Found some nice fragrances as well : ) Went into Lady Foot Locker and found a nice pair of $63 Pumas Im going to save for as well and then went into Barnes and Noble and Yankee Candle. Didnt get in til late. Had Arby's curly fries and mint chololate swirl shake on the way home. Couldnt get my bus ticket because they were closed. Got to talk to a friend after getting home to my place and now headed to bed .... more later : )

Oh My ....

WELL .... I guess SOME people don't seem to get the hint when I don't text back that I don't want to talk to them .... which is REALLY irritating! Or I don't respond to calls .... or whatever. Gotta clean my phone keyboard and get a car charger .... and tomorrow I'm doing out of town with a girlfriend .... should be fun : ) Things are slowly lookin up - but now we're about to be busy with dinner so more later : )

Another Day ....

So its been a few days since Ive really posted with all the work and such Ive been doing .... made some curtains for my place and Ill post pics soon ... a bff came to town for a week or so and we have some fun plans this week from going out of town Wednesday to seeing New Moon and some other stuff ... Considering doing some drastic stuff but havent done anything yet .... going to get my bus ticket for 3 weeks from now on Wednesday .... and everything seems to be looking up : ) We shall see as time moves forward ....

Well .... WOW .... what a few days its been!! Yesterday was a good day : ) Had a "date" last night and that was fun .... saw a movie and got a few things done .... I have new contacts and Im waiting for my glasses to come in .... not much to really say tho. Just waiting it all out.

A Good Day : ) ....

Today was a good day .... or, rather, yesterday was a good day : ) Mailed off letters to the boys and spent time at the library and then spent time with mi madre .... talked to my new go-to person {!!} and then helped her with some stuff around the house before heading to SubWay for lunch .... that was quite some fun : ) I had a toasted turkey sub with mozerella and cucumbers and green peppers and I think she just had turkey and lettuce and american cheese .... coca cola to drink of course : ) Saw some Coasties while we were there and that got my heart racing ; ) LOL .... and then we went to WalMart in search of bedsheets I think and got as far as the womens clothing where I found a $5 jeans rack and a pair fit and while trying them on a girlfriend of hers called so we headed to the checkout and then back to SubWay to hang out with the girlfriend .... I got three chocolate chip cookies while we talked and played with phones .... and I saw a guy I like and then we went to the shop .... where I was given the rest of my CD player .... so I was excited : ) And then she drove me back to her house where my vehicle was parked ....

I then drove back to my place. Went to the library for a bit. Then left to get ready for work and worked for 3 1/2 hours .... not long but still 3 1/2 more hours I have on my pay stub before she asked me to work for her : ) And after work I went home to grab some stuff for a friend .... came back and right as I got into the building she called and we talked a few minutes and then I headed home. Watched some Grey's Anatomy .... had some dinner .... started this .... and now I'm off to bed .... so more later : ) Have a great night/day!

Oh Boy ....

Ok so I honestly cant remember what I wrote about last .... saw some family today and started a list of things to do this next week esp with the job hunt .... and then went to work .... got home about 45 minutes ago and have church at 10 AM .... Things are looking up {though they will come with a cost} and its worth it .... just gotta get another job and Ill be set I hope ...

And theres all these guys trying to talk to me and start relationships {besides Mr. Not-Cute-And-Married} that Im not ready for .... so thats fun .... but whatever .... Im in the process of watching Greys Anatomy and eating dinner .... and I have church in 8 hours .... yay ....

So more later .... got a few things to do before and after church and work ... keeping busy on my end so Ill type more again soon : ) ....

Wow ....

Wow its been really busy lately .... I had several prayers answered in a few different unexpected ways {oh the ways the good Lord shows himself} and thats good .... I dont have two jobs anymore and on one hand Im kinda happy but at the same time I need NEED the income/hours .... so yeah ....

Otherwise all is good .... I guess. Tired for the main part. Busy weekend. Even busier Monday and Wednesday .... oh well .... so much to do and so little time LOL

This Past Weekend ....

This past weekend was VERY busy - we had a family birthday dinner Friday after I worked all day and after that I was planning on going to watch a movie and sleep some but that didn't happen .... I ended up meeting some friends and eventually left and went home to sleep .... worked ALL day Saturday (Halloween) and after that I came home to change and forgot the birthday card for her and drove to their house for dinner (wine, roasted chicken, lime and honey flavored carrots and baked potatos cut up with salad which was SOOOO good!!) and around 930 we left for QuietWoods and went to the Haunted House stuff they had there - 5 different spots to get scared out of your gourd! It was fun tho we DID scream quite a bit LOL : ) After that we headed back to their house and I left to go home and I hoped I'd sleep but then I got pulled out ....

Went to the Ladderhouse a bit and heard some good music and saw a few people I knew and then went to another local bar for a while. It was costume galore there! WOW! AND it was MEGA crowded there too .... saw even more people there that I knew and got to catch up with a few .... and then it was time to close the bar and I went home .... showered .... had a bit of food and then went to bed. Woke up to 7 missed calls and got ready for church .... walked since it was so nice out.

At church there were a few people we knew and got to say hi. After they left and I went downstairs and walked home with breakfast while listening to my voicemails. Called some family and got prepared to have another busy day. Ended up eating some breakfast and eventually everyone started coming to see my place .... got some help moving a few boxes off my carpet and then got a few gifts and went out to eat down the street. Stayed til just after 2 and then I got ready for work .... which was rather slow. I was glad to get to clock out a little bit early. Called her and met her at the shop and left the beloved car there and went to Wal-Mart for some milk and cereal and jelly and she got some pics printed out and then she dropped me off. I had hoped to get some sleep after watching a movie but ended up getting called and that call was just over 4 1/2 hours long so I actually ended up falling asleep ....

Woke up this AM a bit tired but kept going. She came by and we talked a bit and then we left to go get a few things done at her house and I transfered some pics over from one card to the next and she evidentally didn't sleep much more than I did last night so she went to nap .... and around 1 we left the house. She had a lunch date and I walked home .... ate and started to freak out as I had apparently left my few CDs and Twilight movie I got free from RedBox earlier at her house so I told her and she dropped them off here at the library ....

And soon I'll be leaving to finish a movie and get ready for my dinner date .... gonna have a bit o' dinner with a girlfriend and her husband and possibly kids while having a drink or two and watch a movie .... should be fun! But first got to see if I can deal with my iPod .... so more later : )
