Another Busy Weekend ....

Is this weekend .... got the weekend off .... tomorrow is a garage sale, and I've done pretty good so far! Going to fix a few things tomorrow and then I have a few parties to attend .... hurt my finger at the end of work tonight which sucked .... and not much else has been going on .... hope all is well!!

Another ....

Busy day .... began when I met my mom at her house just before 10 and I talked to her a bit about the call I got from my lawyer. Then my Gigi came by and we weeded. Mom and I went to SubWay for lunch .... saw 2 coasties  : ) Coke was funny though. Then the mail came. Got housing stuff. So I went home from there (after the library) and cleaned .... as I'm not sure if I'm moving or staying. We shall see. JUST started picking the last of it up .... just have vacUUming and putting my clothes away .... which could be worse! And I'm trying to decide which cell provider to go through .... though I'm leaning more towards one than the other two .... anyways, my time in the library here will be up shortly and I still have stuff to do so more later  : ) Got to get up early tomorrow before work since I'm going to GB with the girls ....  : )

What a Weekend!!

What a lovely weekend!! The SongFest went VERY well I think! LARGE turnout everywhere I went. It was fantastic! Got to see lots of live bands / musicians do their thing and some talked to me, it was nice!

Yesterday I missed out on church because I slept in before working a 6 hour shift .... and my phone was being a pain, I'm SO done with that stupid thing!! After work I pretty much just hung out with friends and went and did my laundry .... today I had the day off. Mailed some stuff out, paid a bill and went to the beach. Almost watched a bird (rather, winged creature) die but I couldn't take it anymore and I walked away. It rained but not much. Returned Brothers and Sisters late apparently so I paid the 15 cents for that. Started Prison Break and haven't done much else. Saw we had MAJOR inspection going on at work today too and some crazy stuff went down last night .... AHHHHH love SB!

Anyways, not much else. A few friends are dealing with some messed up stuff from the men that they're with among other things. Glad not much is happening in my life  : ) So more later, have a great night!!  : )

Worked all day .... got home and changed and read a few messages .... was VERY excited to read that things are FINALLY going in the right direction for my custody battle  : ) Ate dinner while fixing the rest of the songs .... and planned what I'm going to do come tomorrow and for the weekend .... otherwise it's been a relatively quiet day ....

2 More Days!!

Until the Steel Bridge Songfest!! SA-WEET!! SO flippin excited!! See previous post for the info site on the SBSF  :D

Quite a productive day all in all though .... wrote 3 letters and mailed them all out .... and put two applications into their prospective appropriate places and saw a good girlfriend I haven't seen in a while. Met up with my mother and then saw her enjoying lunch and an hour or so after that got a call from her that good news is happening!! I'm SO excited!! 4th of July weekend will be a VERY busy one for me  : D

Otherwise watched some of Grey's Anatomy and cleaned some .... thinking about getting a different cell phone provider come Friday but I'm not totally sure yet .... I know that the smartest thing to do is to end the contract (if I terminate) on the 6th when everything ends for the month because otherwise I then have to pay for the extra month BUT if I suspend (AKA keep paying the minimal on it but don't use it) it until Jan or so when I file my taxes again and then quit the contract (since I'll have a refund then) it may be smarter. I'm not totally sure. As of right now the contract ends not this October but October of 2011 .... so 4 months after my sister graduates high school. And I wouldn't quit the contract but I only get 450 minutes with unlimited everything else for $70 .... so I feel like I'm wasting money PLUS the nearest store if I have issues is 45 minutes away in GB .... so ANY comments / suggestions / ideas would be VERY much appreciated!!

Anyways .... more later .... fixing the songs and such on here yet and then updating the computer .... then going to go home to watch more of Grey's or Brothers and Sisters .... we shall see .... Have a good night!!

STEEL BRIDGE SONGFEST 2010

So .... this weekend in good ole DC (Door County) there's the annual (as far as I know) Steel Bridge Songfest of 2010!! I'm SO excited!! I can't wait!! I work all weekend BUT as soon as I'm off I'm going straight to where the music is since music is one of my top things in my life .... I'm never without music or sound .... Besides work and the Songfest and writers and singers, there's not much else going on .... a close girlfriend got into SB on Thursday and she left today and I wasn't able to hang out with her at all but she'll be home again in about 4 weeks so I'm going to make use of the time I hope! 

Also went and applied to a job up in Egg Harbor today .... and tomorrow I'm putting the application in for the court house job so we'll see how that goes .... 

Anyways, that's about it for now. Still for whatever reason can't post via my phone email thing which sucks. Hense why I can't post as much anymore. The Sunshine Cleaning movie is almost over, it's pretty good! And the kids letters will be mailed out tomorrow .... but more later .... getting late .... take care!!

Busy Busy Busy ....

WOW what a busy few days and even week! Got to see Eli Mattson in concert on Friday at the Ladderhouse and then spent some time hanging out before going to see some friends and Saturday I hung out with some friends after work .... Sunday marked the one week since the death and I'm putting off dealing with that. And of course Monday was Memorial Day - so here's a Belated THANK YOU to all past, present and future servicemembers!! I really haven't done much all week actually. Kind of depressing. Lots of work.

So ....

So despite not being able to blog on my phone internet right now for whatever reason, I'm still managing to blog haha. And today was a BEAUTIFUL day! Got up (early for me) and kept going. Was at a friend's house at 9 to help her with some stuff and around lunchtime (and then naptime) I left to go mail the kids stuff and get some errands ran and was then home to watch my borrowed The Mentalist Season One (which is AWESOME!!) and then a girlfriend called and I met her at WalMart.

Now I'm downloading the movies from iTunes (gotta love it .... ) and watching some of Glee which is pretty good! So more later .... hope you had a great day!

A Crummy Weekend ....

So I haven't been not posting because I haven't wanted to. My phone internet is just being stupid. For whatever reason it gives me an error message each time I've tried to post ....


Thursday I missed Grey's Season Finale because one girlfriend wasn't home and the other wanted to watch Valentine's Day instead. Friday I worked and then went to another friend's house for dinner and watched World's Greatest Dad while organizing and decorating .... and Saturday after closing I went and enjoyed some friends after finding out that another friend is getting divorced .... so this has been a busy weekend! And to top it off I got some horrible news this morning before work and even more bad news just a bit ago .... thoughts are appreciated! I hope everyone is doing better than those I know who are in pain!! Have a great week if I can't post!!

What a Saturday!!

So .... got home early this AM (think 2:30!) and was sleeping by 3 .... and woken up at 9 and asked to come into work at 10 instead of 11 so I got another hour on my payroll for the week! So that's good ....

At work I got to see my grandmother who is in the process of moving .... and after work I left and went home. Got the little mail. Showered and then gassed up the car. Went to the store for conditioner and then the grocery and then was off to Sister Bay's Scandinavian Lodge (where I'm still at) for some fun with friends. So far so good!

Just Another Day ....

Beyond working 11 to 5 .... didn't do much. Neck is getting better. Watched Maid of Honor (the horror flick) last night. Started Jennifer's Body today .... got some mail from family. Did some babysitting .... met the two new people at work .... it's been a bit of a boring day .... BUT tomorrow is THURSDAY AKA Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy!! And then Friday brings Pay Day and Green Bay run with mom and more work .... trying to sell a few things online but not getting far .... hopefully things will get a little more open so I can have a garage sale .... we shall see!! 


Anyways, that's about it. More later : )

Need A New Job ....

So while I like my job I'm getting irritated that I'm not going anywhere in it .... I get along with most of my coworkers .... so it's not that I don't like it because of who I work with .... I am just wanting more for myself. So I'm going to try doing more writing and sewing to better myself ....


Woke up at 9. Got up at 10. Got ready for work .... worked til 4. Then rested my neck and dressed into other clothes and went home .... from there I cleaned some stuff up and went to the library a bit .... then met up with a girlfriend for a walk and got some dinner .... now about to watch a movie, Duplicity ....


So more later .... gotta mail the letters tomorrow and lunch plans were postponed .... so who knows what will happen. Going to GB Friday AM tho : ) And I am getting more hours at work!! Anywayssss .... more later!! Take care and have a great night : )

Busy Week ....

What a busy day! Woke up with a still hurting neck and kept going .... worked 11 to 4. After work I changed and went home to eat. Wrote back to a pen pal that's been like family to me since I moved to AK .... and then wrote my check for my car insurance while finishing The Invention of Lying and then left and returned it to the library ....


And then I went back home and ate some green bean casserole and had two buiscuts and headed off to my usual Thursday evening fun stuff and they are gone out of town so here I am just "chillin" and such ....


Working all day tomorrow so who knows what I'll do after work .... we shall see : ) Take care and have a great night!!  : )

Quite a Busy Day ....

Got up at 9 and showered and then went to my mom's house to move some stuff around from where the kids stuff was to where it should be .... and then we took time to think about some dates and went to lunch where I work and then the shop. After getting back to her house and I was asked to work 6 hours .... 


So I went in and worked the 6 hours and after that I dressed and went to the library and did some stuff and then went and got a movie and I'm now watching it (Imagine That) .... working all week now and I hope that I have Mother's Day off, we shall see ....

A WONDERFUL Saturday : )

So .... had the kids from 9 to 8. It was great! Once they were dropped off we played a while and then fed them some snacks before going on a few errands in town for lunch and dinner stuff (like Wal-Mart and Merchant's) and I got them some milk and juice and ice cream : ) We also got to see some family friends (both last night and today) along with a few of my grandparents (went out to one of my grandparents' new homes and they ran around like crazy both inside and outside, it was SO cute!!) and the weather was GORGEOUS!! They took about an hour and a half nap after 12:15 once they gave into sleep. One was on the blow up air mattress with me for 45 minutes and after that I saw that the other one was starting to wake up so I went and laid beside him a while and BOY is he a heater like his father! He was on the bed ....


After their naps we gave them a bit of a snack and that's when we headed to my grandparents' house and they ran around the inside and outside of the house screaming (LOL) and they sat down long enough to color on paper so that will be on the fridge : ) After we left their house, we went back to my parents' house and hung around and not a half hour later my other set of grandparents came by to visit and about 45 minutes later they left to continue on with their day and we started dinner .... they had some mancotti and steak ....


And after all of that they just played in the livingroom .... one of my aunts came by with a friend of hers and they hung out a while til the kids' dad was about to come get them to avoid issues .... and the cat was a pain today, she "put up with" the kids just to sit on "her chair" and it was kinda cute LOL .... they were picked up on time and after that I immediately left (accidentally followed them all the way to 3rd Avenue) and went to get my mail and then headed to the races.


After the races headed to a friends' house, needed to vent and such. And here we are. Got the letters written for the kids so that's done for tomorrow .... not much else going on .... just feeling hurt and I'm wishing I could get over it .... ALL of it. Got to get a few things figured out and we shall see how everything goes .... more later though. Have a great night!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Wow .... what a day or two! Yesterday I worked (pretty much the same schedule as today) and after work I showered .... as I was dressing a friend called and we talked a bit. Then I sat around til I got bored .... watched some DVDs. Went to a friend's house for dinner and then did my laundry (which took 3 hours WHY I'm not sure) and read more of Confessions of a Military Wife .... and got to bed by 1:30 AM. Today after work I changed and went home after being harassed by a person who thinks that I may be interested in them - AS IF! Listened to a good song and called a friend. Discovered there may be SPD plans down by where I live not that I think I'm going to participate .... got a free RedBox Rental code - 54z7h5x - and I'm going to the grocery here shortly so I'll get the free movie and watch that .... otherwise pretty boring! And it's been BEAUTIFUL out lately OMGosh!! Such sunny skies and warmth!! I'm LOVING that!!


Anyways that's about it for now - soon time for dinner after grocery shopping and then who knows what and working in the AM .... more later : )

Ash Wednesday : )

What a day .... worked 11 to 5. Before work tried to take my Heros Season One to the library but everything was nuts downtown because of this .... and work today was NUTS! We sold a LOT of fish and large fries because of the fish and fries Lent deal - two fish or two large fries or a fish and large fry for $3.33 ($3.51 with tax) so drive thru was VERY busy! Sold lots of Shamrock shakes and frappes too : ) 


After work I was asked to join Ash Wendesday mass but didn't make it, Talked to a close friend and went to a friend's house after returning the bottom part of the bathing suit I bought for the IL trip. Now watching American Idol .... so so SO much going on in my head from work to bills to personal with family and friends and the news .... ahhhh .... anyways .... more later .... take care!!

Another Thursday ....

Well .... day 2 of writing in my physical diary is going pretty well : ) Work was rather boring and after about an hour and a half not only did I have a headache but I was also pissed at the young pregnant manager .... not that it matters now .... before work ran some errands and got an application so we shall see how that goes .... saw mom and talked of a few things like my life and some options and also decided that we're going south for a bit tomorrow .... so we will leave by 9 tomorrow .... went to the library as well and used the internet after dropping off some DVDs .... after work went to the grocery and got some breakfast got some yogurt to go with my cereal in the morning as well as some celery and such. And now I'm home just finished watching one of the episodes of season one of Numb3rs .... and now on to Food, Inc. Kinda scary but VERY worth watching!1! Anyways .... more later ....

Christmas Stuff ....

Well, Christmas certainly came and went! I ended up enjoying Panic room and after that went to bed. Got up Christmas Day to 300+ messages on my phone and ate and showered before church which was surprisingly not as packed as I'd expected. Eventually got thru most of my messages on my phone between unwrapping gifts (got some great stuff : ] ) and making two dishes of green bean casserole (my favorite!) before heading out to Grandpa's.

Their house was festive as always : ) Lots of food and fun and laughter! TONS of food really. Pretty much the saying goes "if you leave here hungry it's your own durn fault!" .... we were going to play White Elephant but that didn't happen so we're waiting for another month (Super Bowl Sunday) to do that. Opened the gifts that were there and shared lots of stories. Eventually headed downstairs to the game room where Grandma and dad were playing pool. Two of my aunts and mom and one of my uncles and sister ended up playing CashFlow for a while before 8:30 PM hit and then we four went home.

After unpacking the new car of mom's we packed my stuff up and went to her girlfriends house to pick up something (it was raining and in the element) and then my mom dropped me off where my car was. I then was going to go to the grocery but realized it would be closed so I headed home and then realized I forgot a few bags and went back to my parents place and picked that up and then came home for good and watched some of House MD. Eventually went to bed and waited til about 945 to get up this morning. Just didn't care. Watched more of House before heading here to the library and shortly I'll be off to the grocery (since they're open) and then closing at work. So more later : )

More of the Weekend ....

So last night was fun LOL .... Dinner was on me - my girlfriends husband made the brats that I bought and we watched Julie and Julia with another of our girlfriends that came over and after that it was already midnight so we headed to bed .... woke up this AM at 645 and headed to DC Brew for coffee - she got a cappuccino and I got a hot chocolate - and then we headed to the JC Hall .... waited in line for about an hour before they opened the door and we started taking numbers and everything started going smoothly .... I ended up being able to get the stuff I was there for for a different girlfriend AND I was able to get stuff for my own kids : ) So that was cool! Also got to see a few friends I haven't seen in a few weeks too!

And then we headed back to her house where we are right now .... she made eggs and sausage and toast for lunch and before that I had a bowl of cheerios and some other cereal like Post or whatever .... and now the kids are down for naps and some family and friends have been calling and texting so I guess eventually I'll be heading to see a few soon ....
